VARportal™

The VARportal founders are Technology Service veterans from Staffing, Solution Provider, Managed Service, Software House (Microsoft LAR) and Value Added Reseller Organizations. Over the years, this group of executives found it a challenge to identify and qualify partners to help them address short term client needs or develop long term strategic relationships. VARportal was formed to meet these challenges.

The VARportal Mission is to provide both a robust platform and a diverse community of members to allow Technology Service Providers to have a more formal, precise and continuous way to “Locate, Connect & Collaborate” with each other.

The VARportal Platform is “profile” and “list” driven. In addition, the community is comprised of member types. This allows you to find specific partners for specific needs. With other communities that use “tag & search” functionality, results are often mixed. For example, developers, implementers, and suppliers may all appear in the same search result.

The VARportal Community is comprised of four different member types; VARs, Consultants, Channel and Business Service Providers.

• VARs are the members of VARportal that hold the end user client relationship.
• Consultants are Independent Members who provide Sub Contracted Technical or Project Management Services to VAR Members.
• Channel Members are organizations that have Channel Programs geared toward VAR Members.
• Business Service Providers (BSP) provide line of business assistance to VAR Organizations from Marketing to Human Resources and more.
